“E” Designation Program Support for Mixed-use Redevelopment

HydroTech provided environmental engineering services for the redevelopment of a 3,725 square foot lot occupied by a 2-story residential building. The redevelopment consisted of the construction of a new 5-story mixed-use residential and commercial building with a full cellar and a rear yard. HydroTech’s scope of work included oversight during excavation and disposal of soil to designated facilities, design and installation of the Composite Cover and Vapor Barrier System that are currently in operation at the site, environmental permit filing, and implementation of stormwater pollution prevention measures. Throughout the project, HydroTech coordinated regulatory approvals with the York City Office of Environmental Remediation (NYCOER) to address the Hazmat and Noise “E” designations that had been placed on the property.
