At HydroTech we see water in context. From water infrastructure to advising on natural catchments, we consider commercial, economic, environmental and social implications.
HydroTech specializes in water and water resources engineering, including the design of innovative stormwater management systems, Green Infrastructure design, wetland & stream restorations, sediment dredging, coastal protection structures, and floodplain reconnections. Unlike traditional grey infrastructure approaches, we have a holistic understanding of, and appreciation for, the entire ecosystem, and design projects to emulate nature. We understand the impacts of climate change, including sea level rise, and use tools such as vulnerability assessments to inform our restoration designs. We combine field data, empirical approaches, ecological and geomorphic understanding, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, and state-of-the-art computer programming technology to develop our designs.
