Mixed-Use Commercial/Residential Development Regulatory Compliance

The proposed future use of the site will consist of a new six-story, mixed-use building with a full basement. The site was assigned an “E” designation for “Hazmat” and is under the jurisdiction of the New York City Office of Environmental Remediation (NYCOER). The proposed development involves excavation of the building footprint to a maximum depth of 14.5 feet below grade.

Hydro Tech managed all environmental work in coordination with NYCOER:

• Waste characterization testing for soil disposal
• Supervision of site excavation work including implementation of Community Air Monitoring Plan (CAMP)
• Final inspection to ensure compliance with all aspects of the RAWP
• Preparation of a Remedial Closure Report (RCR)
• Securing a Notice Of Satisfaction (NOS)
