“E” Designation Program Support for Commercial Redevelopment

HydroTech provided environmental engineering services for the redevelopment of a site enrolled in the New York City Voluntary Cleanup Program (VCP). The redevelopment plan includes 2-story retail building with a full basement. HydroTech performed a remedial investigation which revealed the presence of chlorinated compounds in soil vapor at concentrations exceeding their respective monitoring/mitigation levels established by NYSDOH. Based on these findings, HydroTech designed and installed an active Sub-Slab Depressurization System on-site. HydroTech also provided engineering oversight throughout the construction process and facilitated regulatory approvals as part of the VCP process. HydroTech is currently involved in the post-remediation site management such as annual inspection of ECs and petition for spill closure.
