Hydro Tech Environmental is a highly respected environmental consulting firm specializing in the unique challenges posed by the land composition and usage of the Metropolitan Area. Our professional staff members are knowledgeable in an extremely diverse range of concerns, ranging from soil and groundwater remediation and investigation to mold and air quality issues. We are proficient in all methods of assessment and employ the most efficient and up-to-date methods of remediation. We work closely with all local, state, and federal agencies to ensure compliance with all ordinances. Our cliental base includes law firms, realtors, the New York State Agencies, private residences, and other public and privately owned businesses.

In only a few short years, we have expanded our company immensely. We have built our reputation on honesty and hard work, and continue to do so as we evolve to incorporate new ways to provide the best services to our clients. We blend experience with perseverance to tackle problems associated with our ever changing physical landscape. Our role in environmental inspection and remediation is multi-faceted. For example, President and founder of Hydro Tech, Mostafa El Sehamy, P.G., C.G.W.P., was able to provide the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation with crucial evidence to support their claims of contaminated soil and groundwater. The result was a multi-million dollar settlement by ExxonMobil and Arrow-Petroleum. Because we own our equipment, we are able to complete jobs quickly and thoroughly. We also help to supply other engineering companies with the tools and resources they might need. We work with all different communities through out the Metropolitan area to maintain an equilibrium between environmental safety and economic and neighborhood growth. We are synergy at work.

New and Innovative GPR Technology: Can Help You Find What's Underneath Your Property

Hydro Tech Environmental has performed thousands of GPR (ground penetrating radar) surveys around the Boroughs of New York and some areas of New Jersey. This technology is used to determine the location of various subsurface structures including underground storage tanks, drums and utilities. Useful in various applications, GPR can be used in environmental audits, site assessments, remedial investigations and feasibility studies. GPR is also used in construction/engineering applications and to evaluate active and inactive industrial sites.

The GPR antenna is moved across a surface as it transmits electromagnetic signals into the subsurface. It then receives the reflections, which are amplified, processed, and displayed in real-time on a graphical recorder and color video monitor. The GPR data is then recorded and saved for later playback and viewing.
